Website: www.myspace.com/cybax
A Cyba-X show is unique, utterly different and pure musical brilliance... Ed Freitas is a musical master whose eclectic mix of hard drumming, trance-based mixing ...makes the neck hairs stand prouder than a Buck House guardsman!
If you like rock, you'll like Cyba-X, if you like
dance, you'll like Cyba-X, if you like a soulful hip hop beat,
you'll like Cyba-X. If you like drums and drumming you'll probably just
wet your pants.... throw an array of laser lights into the equation and
gigging doesn't get much better."
Jonny
G. : Feedback Magazine, LMI PHotography
Cyba-X has been on the festival circuit and performing globally over the last year with his impressive and distinctive stage rig, this is one show not to be missed! All songs are written by Ed Freitas and performed absolutely live, note for note and sample for sample. Saturday 6pm – Fozz (Indie Pop)
Website: www.fozzmusic.com
Since the very first caveman twanged a piece of mammoth gut tied to a dinosaur bone and gyrated his prehistoric hips in the hope of getting off with a very hairy cavewoman, weve all been searching for songs that strike an inner chord. Now, three hundred thousand years on, four men from Milton Keynes at least two of whom were around to hear that first concert have come up with something that is quite extraordinary. In a world where the lines between the fashion industry and the music business seem increasing blurred, there are one or two bands who shun both in an attempt to produce something both clever and interesting.
Fozz are old. The youngest member is 37, the oldest 46. That doesnt bother them and it doesnt seem to bother their increasing fan base. So whats the music about? Remember Squeeze? Remember Elvis Costello at his prime? Think of a fusion between them and add some modern and retro production sounds and you have something not only unique but immensely enjoyable.

Saturday 9.30pm – Big G
If you've ever seen Big G perform at one of the local open mic nights, you'll certainly be familiar with Grant's mix of playing strange instruments and his ability to freestlye with an original style of beats and lyrics. It's a tough one to sum up, but we've found a quote that goes somewhere toward it...
Grant, the young fella we’ve previously described only as “the beatbox dude”, gave yet another genius cameo at the end of the night, with guitar accompaniment. Each time I hear him do a set I’m struck by a new and different thing he does jaw-droppingly well – first of all beatboxing of course, then more recently beatboxing through a harmonica and actual ‘monica playing, and last night I realised his singing voice is really impressive too! Genyoowine silky RnB style – and he was taking the p*** out of Timberlake. Skills, as they say! And according to his Facebook profile he can breathe fire too! - Matt Taylor, MMT MK
Saturday 8.30pm – Jeff Sewell

With an acoustic guitar and harmonica in tow, expect Jeff to bring some of his own bluesy material to the stage and perhaps throw in few covers for good measure. It’s not often that I really get in to a band within the first couple of shows, especially when they’re this young, maybe that’s a tip for you to catch them this year too." - Ampjam
